Comms were 5 star Checked in with me along the way Sent quotes fast Fair price for Cedar too And all delivered the day I wanted it even though it only came into them the same day too!! Like best: Oh what a joy to find as helpful and understanding an organisation as Suffolk Timber Supplies. They stock Cedar and will deal with members of the public who are interested in building their own beehives. Their delightful location can be reached by bus for those who are car free. Happy to handhold a newbie through the process of buying the timber and offer advice and to listen to the need to avoid pressure treated timber and anything that will harm bees. Ellie was unfazed by the need to dither about the work required and manage the quantities. it was impressive that I could bring a book showing what I wanted to do, have Ellie and James take a picture of the relevant diagrams and get on with it. The efficiency of the online quote system is an impressive model of how this process can be run. Delivery was prompt and at the time and date agreed. Alfie, the driver was a godsend in helping shift the oak sleeper, and a really nice guy. I will unreservedly recommend Suffolk Timber Supplies to others 5***** Would recommend: Yes

All of our timber supplies are stored inside to ensure that it arrives with our customers in perfect condition. Covering over 10,000 square feet, our advanced storage facilities allow us to keep all of our products safely under cover and protected to avoid it getting wet or warped. This is critically important as it means that our products will exceed expectations whatever the weather, and our customers won’t have to waste time returning products.

PROVIDE A SPECIALIST TIMBER CUTTING SERVICE IN SUFFOLK

Open to both trade and public customers, we offer a specialist timber cutting service in Suffolk to ensure that all orders of joinery timber, oak, hardwoods and sheet materials can be cut-to-size. Equipped with the latest technology, our workshop allows our team to provide a highly bespoke service to both trade and public customers.

We choose the timber mills that we work with carefully as we understand that our clients wish to be assured that our timber is sustainably sourced and the businesses that we work with adopt environmentally responsible practices to the highest regard. As such we only work with partners that are FSC or PEFC certified.

At Suffolk Timber Supplies we recycle our wood waste, predominantly into heating products and have adopted a 5 year plan to enhance our sustainability through the use of solar and battery powered energy and technology, ultimately reducing our carbon footprint.
